My Story
My name is Elie Orgel, a father, entrepreneur, and advocate for using music to heal. When my daughter, Aria, was born prematurely, she spent several weeks in the NICU. It was a deeply emotional time, and I couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed by the constant noise of alarms and machines—a far cry from the peaceful environment I wanted for her to begin her life. To create a sense of calm amidst the chaos, I bought an MP3 player, loaded it with classical music, and played it for her throughout her stay. The NICU nurses were incredibly supportive, ensuring the music played as often as possible. As Aria grew, I noticed how powerfully classical music soothed her, helping her eat better, relax, and find comfort in difficult moments. Now, I want to share that experience with other families. That’s why I’m personally funding the launch of Music Can Change and dedicating my time to growing this project. My goal is to create a movement that transforms healthcare environments, starting with the NICU, by harnessing the profound power of music to heal and uplift.
Phased Launch Strategy for Music Can Change
Our phased launch strategy begins with a deeply personal commitment: the pilot program will be fully funded by founder Elie Orgel.
